I feel like it should be noted on how inheriting genes works and what the percentages are, so here's a quick little thing to help anyone wondering.

| EE | This horse has a homozygous dominant extension gene, so it will have a black base. |
| Ee | This horse has a heterozygous extension gene, so it will have a black base. |
| ee | This horse is homozygous recessive! It will have a chestnut base. |
